Mezzanine bistro´s European flare

I´d been hearing about Mezzanine Bistro that opened within the last year and how it was completely different than anything else in San Miguel. Portuguese and French food. I went one afternoon for lunch with three friends.
The short but delicious menu had some things I haven´t seen on a menu in a long time. Classics like Duck Confit were done properly as well as the Oso Bucco. We all tried each other dishes and there wasn´t a miss in any of them.
The restaurant itself is just as precious as the food. Light, relaxing and beautifully decorated. The service was attentive and efficient.
Now, I´m certainly into Mexican food while I´m in San Miguel de Allende, but I need variety and this place certainly filled that need. I strongly recommend Mezzanine Bistro. They have a blog so you can see their menus.
