Restaurant St. Pauli--Another Great Burger in San Miguel de Allende

NOTE: Sadly. St. Pauli's has closed. the owners may reopen in another location in the near future. Watch for updates.
I had dinner the other night at St. Pauli, a great hamburger joint on Hernandez Macias, at the corner of Insurgentes. It was FANTASTIC and very reasonably priced.
Very cute little place with friendly staff. Stick to beer or soda though; I thought the wine wasn't worth it. But the burgers? Heavenly. And for vegetarians, I also sampled the incredible portobello mushroom burger with creamy goat cheese. Divine.
This place is worth a repeat visit, in fact several repeat visits. It's also a really cute place.
The owner/chef is a terrific guy who I believe has or had a similar restaurant in Condessa, in Mexico City. He has posted a lot of articles and plaques on the wall trumpeting his culinary skills.
Price? Reasonable, to say the least. Two people could easily dine for 150 pesos (less than US$12 at today's exchange rate-Nov. 2008). This makes
budget dining in San Miguel de Allende a delicious possibility.
Try St. Pauli. I think you'll be glad.
